This course aims to provide PhD students with research skills that are essential to become a successful researcher. The topics of this course will include research methodology, professional ethics and academic integrity, and oral presentation and paper writing techniques. Students will be required to perform a literature survey, to construct a research proposal, and to write a paper summary in the style of a formal scientific paper, in one of their familiar research topics.
