Registration

  • Due to limited capacity, the Macau regional contest will accept at most two teams per university from outside Macau and Hong Kong.
  • For the details of the quota allocation, please refer to this file (updated on 2023.10.05).
  • The registration fee is HKD 2000. The payment methods will be sent to accepted teams by email.
  • The list of teams accepted in the first round can be found here.

Invitation Letter

  • Visitors from Mainland China can apply for a Hong Kong Macau Entry Permit to travel to Macau for up to seven days.
  • The invitation letter for participating the regional contest can be found here.
  • If you need an invitation letter with the names of the coach and team members, please send an email with the detailed requirements to Jianing Si (mc14935@um.edu.mo).

There will be the following categories of awards:

  • Champion: the highest ranked team
  • First Runners-up: the second highest ranked team
  • Second Runners-up: the third highest ranked team
  • Gold Awards: teams ranked 10%
  • Silver Awards: teams ranked next 20%
  • Bronze Awards: teams ranked next 30%
  • Outstanding Local Teams

Contest Info (Rules)

  • References and stationery that a team can bring into contest rooms:
    • [1] No limit on number of books and printed materials;
    • [2] Pens, pencils, rulers, compasses, and so on
  • During the contest, teams have to wear ICPC T-shirts and badges
  • Programming Environment will follow World Final Contest
  • The judging system is Domjudge version 7.3.2 (TBD)
  • Any electronic devices (e.g., smart phones, personal computers, USB flash disks, memory cards, portable disks, and programmable calculators) should not be taken into the contest.

  • Approximate price from below locations to Universty of Macau, N1 Building:
    • From Gongbei Port: 15 km, 25 min, 140 MOP (approximate).
    • From Hengqin Port: 3 km, 10 min, 45 MOP (approximate).
    • From HZMB Macau Port: 16 km, 30 min, 150 MOP (approximate).
    • From Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal: 7.8 km, 15 min, 80 MOP (approximate).
  • Waiting and luggage will be charged additionally.
  • You are recommended to prepare some cash for taxi (100 MOP ≈ 90 RMB).
  • If you do not have cash, you can also pay with WeChat/Alipay but the currency rate will be 1:1:1 for RMB:HKD:MOP.

    • By Bus

    Currently, there are six public bus routes connecting to campus, which are 701X, 71, 72, 73, 73S (special public bus route) and N6 (overnight bus). For details of those bus routes and the ways to the University of Macau, please refer to the website of DSAT: http://www.dsat.gov.mo/bus/en/bus_service.aspx.

  • Macao Bus (巴士報站) APP: Android, IOS.
  • From Gongbei Port:
    • Take 51A or AP1 to AV. 1º DE MAIO and transfer to 73 or 73S at the same stop to UM / UNIVERSITY HALL.
  • From Hengqin Port
    • Take 701X to UM.
  • From HZMB Macau Port
    • Take 102X to ROTUNDA MARGINAL / ZONAS ECOLÓGICAS and transfer to 71S, 71, 72, 73, or 73S at the same stop to UM / UNIVERSITY HALL.
  • From Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal
    • Take 73S to UM / UNIVERSITY HALL.

    Accommodation

    UM Guest House

    We will provide limited in-campus accomodation in our UM Guest House (TBA).
    We offer limited in-campus accommodation for contestant and coach to stay in our UM Guest House. Please submit your reservation via the online form (first-come first-serve manner).
