Programme Educational Objectives

The Department of Computer and Information Science has defined the following educational objectives for all graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program.

A student graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Macau will be able to:

(a)	Pursue advanced studies in Computer Science, or a professional career in a related field.
(b)	Apply knowledge to effectively analyze and assess practical problems and provide appropriate solutions.
(c)	Work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively both in written documents and oral presentations.
(d)	Recognize technological change and embrace lifelong learning.
(e)	Understand and deal with ethical, societal and global issues associated with the computing profession.
